We are pleased to confirm the installation of your new RCBO 'A' Type SPN 2M. Our highly skilled team of technicians will be arriving at your location to complete the installation process.
Any electrical appliance with power control has the ability to produce earth fault currents with pulsating DC (rectified AC) components. RCBO that provide this type of protection are referred to as Type A RCBOs.
Discrimination using time delay - Type S RCBO
Type S - Selective or time delay : RCBOs are also divided into two categories determined by their response time to an earth fault current , as follows - General Type - having a trip time <300 ms for fault currents of I∆n and < 40 ms for fault currents > 5 I∆n. S Type - having a trip time of 150 ms - 500 ms S for I∆n, and 40 ms -130 ms for >5I∆n.
